What fits in a 10 x 20 storage unit?
A 10 by 20 unit is about the size of a standard one-car garage, roughly 200 square feet, with a door you drive up to. There is room in one for the contents of a whole house: beds, furniture, appliances, boxes, bicycles, camping gear and patio furniture.
How do I store a mattress or a couch without ruining it?
Stand a mattress on its long edge against a side wall rather than laying it flat, and keep a cover on it so it stays clean. A sofa can go on end if the shape allows. Both free up floor space, and neither wants heavy boxes stacked on top.
What size are your storage units?
All of them are 10 feet by 20 feet. There is no small, medium and large to choose between, and no unit you outgrow a month after renting it. One size is also why there is one price, and why nobody has to guess which locker fits a house move.
Can I store a car, camper or small boat?
Yes, cars, campers and small boats are all stored here. A 10 by 20 unit takes a car with working room left around it. The aisles are wide enough that a truck or a semi can turn in them. Call first so we can check what is open.
Can I drive right up to my unit?
Yes. Every unit has its own door at ground level, so you park at the door and unload straight in. There is no corridor to carry things down, no elevator, and no shared loading bay to wait for. The aisles take a truck or a semi turning.
Do you have climate-controlled units?
No, and if that matters for what you are storing you should know it now. These units are not heated, cooled or humidity controlled. What they are genuinely good for: furniture, tools, boxes, vehicles, garden equipment, and anything else that can handle a Missouri summer without complaint. Ask before you rent if you are unsure.
What am I not allowed to store?
No food, no living things, and nothing flammable: gasoline, diesel, kerosene, oil and paint are all out. No explosives, no drugs, no hazardous or toxic waste, and nothing that gives off a smell. The rule underneath the list is simple. Nothing that could reach a neighbor's unit.

Not allowed as a use
- Working in the unit, at any time. Storage use only
- Running electrical heating or any powered appliance
- Garage sales or auctions on the premises
- Playing musical instruments
- Any illegal use
- Blocking the aisle for long periods
These come from the rental agreement, which you sign before moving in. They are the same for every tenant.
